Terms & Conditions

Last Updated: 4 April 2025

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) form a legal contract between Js Adli Sdn. Bhd., operating under the business name Japan Tour Team (“we”, “us”, “our”), and you (“you”, “your”, “user”), regarding the use of our website, services, and the booking of travel-related products.

By using our website or services, you agree to be bound by these terms and those of any third-party suppliers involved in your travel arrangements.

2. Our Role: Tour Provider & Booking Facilitator

We may act in two roles depending on the services provided:

  • As a Tour Provider, we operate and manage tour packages that include services such as accommodation, itinerary planning, guides, local experiences, and (where specified) meals or ground transportation. In these cases, you are contracting directly with us.
  • As a Booking Agent, we assist you in arranging optional third-party services (e.g., flights, insurance, or additional transportation). In such cases, we act as an intermediary and are not responsible for the performance of those third-party services.

You will be informed of which services fall under our responsibility and which are handled by third-party providers.

3. Bookings & Travel Services

We offer travel products from various suppliers. Each supplier has their own terms and conditions, which apply to your booking in addition to ours. It is your responsibility to review and agree to their terms.

Bookings are made through our website: https://japantourteam.com

4. Pricing & Additional Charges

Prices are subject to change due to taxes, fuel surcharges, currency exchange fluctuations, or supplier-driven cost changes. By confirming your booking, you authorize us to pass along any price increase to your selected payment method, where applicable.

5. Deposits & Payments

Deposits secure your booking but do not guarantee the final price. Full payment is required by the specified due date to lock in pricing. After providing payment details, you authorize us to facilitate payments with suppliers on your behalf.

We reserve the right to refuse payment methods such as personal cheques.

6. Documentation

Booking and travel documents will typically be sent electronically. A fee may apply if you request printed copies. You are responsible for checking the accuracy of your documents and notifying us of any issues immediately.

7. Changes & Cancellations by Suppliers

Suppliers may cancel or change your arrangements. We will notify you of significant changes as soon as possible. You may then:

  • Accept the change
  • Accept an alternative arrangement
  • Cancel your booking (subject to refund availability from the supplier)

We are not liable for any costs, damages, or losses resulting from supplier changes or cancellations.

8. Changes Requested by You

Requested changes (e.g. date, name, or room updates) are subject to availability and supplier approval. Additional fees may apply.

Please note:

  • Many airlines and suppliers treat name changes as cancellations.
  • Flights must be taken in the sequence booked. Failure to check in or take the first segment may void the rest of the ticket.

9. Cancellation by You

If you cancel your booking:

  • You may be eligible for a partial refund (subject to the supplier’s policy and our service fees)
  • Deposits are generally non-refundable
  • Refunds will only be processed once funds are received from the supplier

You must provide the original booking confirmation and payment proof for a refund request. We are not responsible for a supplier’s failure to issue a refund.

10. Complaints

If any issues arise during your trip, notify us immediately. Failure to do so may limit our ability to help resolve the matter or process claims after your return.

11. Travel Documents & Destination Advice

Ensure your travel documents (e.g., name spelling, dates) are correct. We are not responsible for lost or stolen documents. Before booking, review relevant travel advisories and regulations applicable to your destination.

We do not guarantee the safety of any destination. Travel is at your own risk.

12. Passports, Visas & Immigration

You are responsible for meeting all passport, visa, and entry requirements for your travel. Please confirm these with the relevant embassies.

We are not responsible if you are denied entry due to non-compliance with immigration rules.

13. Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend you obtain comprehensive travel insurance. Some tours may require it. We may assist in arranging insurance (e.g., coverage provided with flights), but the responsibility for ensuring sufficient coverage lies with you.

14. Use of Website & Services

You agree to use our services for lawful and legitimate purposes only. You must not:

  • Use bots or scraping tools
  • Attempt to copy, “frame,” or deep link to our site
  • Upload malicious software or engage in harmful activity

We are not responsible for any damage caused by your misuse or unauthorized access.

15. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Js Adli Sdn. Bhd., its affiliates, officers, employees, and partners from any claims or liabilities arising from:

  • Your breach of this Agreement
  • Your violation of law or third-party rights
  • Your use or misuse of our services or website

16. Privacy

You agree that we may collect, use, and share your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By providing personal data of others (e.g., your travel companions), you confirm you have their consent.

17. Independent Agents

Any agents or representatives involved in the booking process act as independent contractors. No employment, joint venture, or partnership relationship is formed between you and us or any third-party supplier.

18. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

Information on our website may contain errors or inaccuracies. We reserve the right to correct or update it at any time.

We are not liable for:

  • Supplier actions, omissions, or delays
  • Flight or accommodation issues
  • Force majeure events (e.g., weather, pandemics, political unrest)
  • Indirect or consequential losses

If we are found liable despite the above, our liability is limited to:

  • The service fee you paid to us, or
  • RM250.00 — whichever is lower

19. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to first attempt to resolve it via mediation or arbitration before taking legal action.

This Agreement is governed by the laws of Malaysia, and any unresolved disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Malaysian courts.
